Thank you for playing Tomb Sweeper, developed and published by Perilous Quest LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Player (“you”, “your”) privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect the information of our players.
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Tomb Sweeper app collects, why it is collected, and how it is used.
By using Tomb Sweeper, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Data Collection
Tomb Sweeper automatically collects data necessary for the operation of third-party advertising and analytics SDKs, which are described below. These third-party services may collect information about your device, usage, or interactions with Tomb Sweeper in order to deliver analytics and advertising.
If you opt-in to creating a player account, we collect your email address, name, and/or social media user ID in order to provide account authentication. You will be assigned an arbitrary and anonymous player name (e.g. “Player 123”) which you can customize. Your game scores will be submitted to the global leaderboard, associated with your arbitrary player name, and may be visible to other players. The move history (replay) of your highest-scoring level will be submitted to Tomb Sweeper game servers for purposes of validating your score.
We do not sell or disclose personal information or other data.
2. Data Sharing
We only share limited information with third parties as required to provide the services described below.
Tomb Sweeper uses third-party services to support core app functionality such as advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, user accounts, and the global leaderboard. These services may collect information about your device or app usage in order to provide their services.
The following third-party services are used by the app:

Used for player authentication and in-app purchases on iOS.

The data collected by these third-party services is governed by their respective privacy policies. Tomb Sweeper does not control and is not responsible for the data handling practices of these third parties.
3. Data Retention
Tomb Sweeper does not retain any advertising or analytics data itself. Third-party SDKs may retain that information in accordance with their privacy policies (listed in Section 2, above).
If you opt into creating a player account, Tomb Sweeper retains the following information via the third-party “Backendless” service: player email, name, and/or social media user ID, game progress (for cloud saves), best score (for the global leaderboard), and move history (for score validation).
4. Data Deletion
You can delete your opt-in account data from within the app (Settings > Profile > Delete) or by emailing support@perilousquest.com with an account deletion request.
If you have questions about data collected by third-party services used by the app (such as Google or Meta), please refer to their privacy policies (listed in Section 2, above).
5. Children’s Privacy
Tomb Sweeper is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe such information has been collected, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the app and its communications, including encrypted network connections where applicable.
However, no digital service can guarantee absolute security..
7. Your Rights
You may:
- Opt out of personalized advertising by denying tracking permission, if requested. If tracking permission is not requested then personalized advertising is not enabled.
- Adjust ad preferences through your device or through Google and Meta account settings, if applicable.
- Delete your opt-in player account as described in Section 4: Data Deletion.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised.
